Dr. Anthony Lam and Adam Goldston Join Fast-Growing Cancer Services Platform

OPN Healthcare named Anthony Lam as Chief Medical Officer and Adam Goldston as Chief Growth Officer as part of the continuing nationwide expansion of OPN’s successful model of value-based community oncology.

Dr. Lam brings significant oncology understanding to OPN. As a a board-certified and practicing hematologist/oncologist, he has extensive experience working with payers and medical groups to manage oncology therapies. Dr. Lam was previously a faculty member at the Stanford Cancer Center and has collaboratively built and managed numerous clinical databases focusing on patient outcomes. He received his BA and MHS in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins and his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  He completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine. 

Mr. Goldston is a veteran of healthcare industry development. He has a multifaceted understanding of the value-based managed care ecosystem, including delegation, capitation and risk taking. He has initiated numerous development projects in the medical and life sciences space and has been instrumental in a variety of growth initiatives and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining OPN, he had a senior role with a national population health industry leader. He received his BA in Economics and Political Science from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.

Both Dr. Lam and Mr. Goldston bring a greater depth to OPN’s management team.  OPN CEO, Srin Vishwanath, expressed noted confidence in the two new additions to the OPN leadership team. “I think the addition of both Anthony and Adam to our organization significantly strengthens OPN’s effective model of community oncology care for our partners throughout the country.” On his new position, Dr. Lam notes, “I feel my background will help OPN foster its innovative model. Oncology providers are the cornerstone for most cancer care, and my experience with care management will serve to enhance and promote the delivery of efficient high-quality care.” Mr. Goldston is similarly enthusiastic about the work ahead. He feels that as OPN continues its national expansion, “I can leverage my business development expertise in population health and deploy my skillset in taking global risk and apply it in a specialty focused healthcare setting.”
