OPN has a long history facilitating value-based cancer care for the community. Initially founded as Greenwave Health Technologies in 1999, OPN developed the Southern California Oncology Associates (SCOA) network which transformed California community-based oncology care in the region. OPN has grown markedly over the past two decades and now manages the oncology needs for over 1.7 million beneficiaries. The company is currently adapting its model in other regions and is operating in Oregon and Washington.
